Breast enlargements (silicon implant insertion) - the operation involves implantation of the special insert enlarging the size of breast. Incisions are made in the inframammary fold or at the edge of nipple areola. The operation is performed under general anaesthesia. The drains are left in the postoperative wound in case bleeding occurs. They are removed the next day and the patient is allowed to go home. Intradermal suture is removed after 7-10 days.
Botox injection. The operation is designed to smoothen facial frown lines (vertical and horizontal lines on the forehead and the side angle of the eye) by means of injecting Botulinum toxin type A in the siutable point of the face. The effect is temporary and lasts about 6 months.
Implantations of injectable fillers (Artekol, Aquamid, Restylane, Juvederm). The operation is designed to remove wrinkles and unevenness of the skin by means of injecting substances which permanently or temporarily tighten the layers of the skin.
Breast lift - it involves removal of excessive skin and moving the nipple and its areola in the proper position. If excess glandular tissue and fat are also removed during the operation, it is possible to correct the size of breast simultaneously. The operation is performed under general anaesthesia and it lasts around 2 hours. There are various techniques of breast surgery. Postoperative scars are visible:
- around nipple areola only
- around nipple areola and vertically downwards
- around nipple areola, vertically downwards and in the inframammary fold
Breast reduction - it involves removal of excessive skin, moving the nipple and its areola in the proper position and removal of excess glandular tissue and fat. Sucking of fat tissue (especially in axillar area) might be performed in conjunction with the operation. Existing asymetry of breasts may indicate the need to correct the size of only one of the breasts. The operation is performed under general anaesthesia. Postoperative scars can be found:
- around nipple areola only
- around nipple areola and vertically downwards
- around nipple areola, vertically downwards and in the inframammary fold operation
Abdominoplasty - the operation is designed to remove the excess fat and skin of the abdomen, and at the same time , tighten the muscles of abdominal wall in order to correct excess projection in the area of lower abdomen. The incision extends from one hip to the other just above the pubic hairline which enables to cover the postoperative scar under the underwear. During the operation the skin flap is detached from pubic symphysis to costal arch. Due to extensiveness of the operation, drains are left in the surgical wounds for 2-4 days (depending on the amount of tissue removed from the wound). The operation is performed under general anaesthesia and requires 2-4 days of hospitalisation.
